It was Louise and Paul’s turn to tie the knot on 10th May! What a lovely couple and a real pleasure to work with. The couple booked our string quartet to join them for their ceremony and also to entertain their guests at Whittlebury Park
Their wedding ceremony was held at St James the Great Church in Paulerspury followed by drinks reception and wedding breakfast at The Atrium, Whittlebury Park. I just loved St James Church – Parts of the building date back to the late 12th century. The Ladies of the Church had decorated it beautifully for the ceremony.
Straight after the ceremony finished we packed up and went on our way to The Atrium, Whittlebury Park
Although this venue is extremely local to us and we have played at Whittlebury many, many times this was actually the first time we had played in the golf club building. Everything was ready and waiting for the couple and their guests when we arrived. I took a sneaky peek upstairs where the wedding breakfast was all set up and LOOK – isn’t it gorgous!!? (Click read more to have a lookie…..!)
I particularly LOVED the cake topper which for some reason was not on top of the cake at this point, but at the side!
What a lovely surprise to find one of our favourite professional photographer colleagues working alongside us!! David Doyle of Oakley Studios was booked by the couple to record their special day! We have had the pleasure of working with David many times and can highly recommend his services to our couples. We thought we would take one of these very popular “Selfies” that seem to be all the rage at the moment!! lol Well, that is a peek into the wedding we shared with our couple on 16th May. I hope you enjoyed the glimpse – we really enjoyed the music they chose! Their guests had great fun as we used our special “Jukebox Live” service! The children went around with lists of music asking the adults what pieces they would like to hear next!! Great fun! A fun photo from Oakley Studios from the drinks reception!!!
