We always suggest to our couples to choose happy, quirky pop songs for their exit. After all, this is the first music they will hear after they tie the knot. Your exit song/music needs to reflect your relationship and picking something with a twist will have your guests smiling.
There is NO right or wrong exit music – always choose your favourite. Here are our top 5 most requested fun exit songs.
1. All You Need Is Love – Beatles
Not only has this been one of the most popular exit songs for the last year, I think it is one of the most popular since we started playing for weddings 20 years ago.
A happy, upbeat end to your ceremony and a fantastic sentiment, not just for weddings but for any occasion. I think our couples have the right idea.
2. Better Together – Jack Johnson
We simply LOVE this song as an exit! The lyrics say it all, have a listen.
“And there is no, no song I could sing
And there is no combination of words I could say
But I will still tell you one thing
We’re better together“
Viva La Vida – Coldplay
This is one of the most popular ever exit songs since it was released in 2008 and has remained a firm favourite! The music is fab and works well on strings.
4. Happy – Pharrell Williams
What a fab ending to your wedding ceremony! Great fun and guests love it! This is a great bridge between the ceremony and drinks reception. We have a great time playing this song.
Marry You – Bruno Mars
Also popular for during the signing of the register or whilst your guests wait for your ceremony to begin. Our couples have been requesting this song since is was released in 2011.
